Site Security
Our secure-server software encrypts all your personal information (for example,
name and address). The encryption process takes the characters you enter and converts
them into an unreadable format before sending them securely over the Internet. They
are then stored, just while we process your order, using 128-bit encryption.
For your security, we process our credit/debit card transactions through Secure Hosting,
a Payment Service Provider approved by our credit card processing company. All collection
of credit/debit card related data is performed on their site, which also utilises encryption
throughout the process.
What you should look for when keying your personal information
on our site...
- https - the address bar at the top of the screen should show 'https'
at the begining (i.e. 'https://www.tonybellew.com...'). This indicates that you are interacting with our website using a secure connection.
- locked padlock - your browser should show a locked padlock on the
window somewhere. This indicates that our website's security certificate is current. Where the padlock is shown will depend upon which web browser you are
using. For example, Internet Explorer shows it at the bottom right corner
of the window, whereas in Firefox it appears both in the bottom right corner and at the right of the address bar.
Please refer to your internet browser's help screens for further information on
where to find the padlock.
If you do not see the 'https' and the locked padlock then please do not enter any
personal information. Instead, we would appreciate it if you would kindly
contact us
immediately so we can research the problem.
