numbers are taken from the Stanley Gibbons Specialised Catalogue, Volume 3 (Q.E.II
Pre Decimal Issues), 11th. Edition. Prices reflect the overall quality of the booklet,
the condition of the perforations and direction of watermarks of the stamps. Prices
in pounds Sterling (£.p.) Where multiple prices are quoted for the same booklet
number more expensive copies have better perforations or scarcer contents.
Contents described with 'SB' specialised booklet pane numbers indicate these panes
have good perforations.
Most booklets have either upright or inverted watermarks. Exceptions are:
1s. booklets numbered SG E1 & E2, which have upright watermarks only;
2s. booklets numbered SG N4-N27 or SG N4p-N32p, which have sideways watermark with
the watermark crown pointing to left or to right, or with mixed directions.
